Today, February 23, 2022, at the Eparchial Center of Suceava, His Eminence Archbishop Calinic met with the delegated members of the Lord's Chant from the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuților.
During the meeting, which took place in „Pimen the Archbishop” Hall, in the perspective of the centennial anniversary of the Lord's Chant, were analyzed and discussed various aspects regarding the measures to be implemented to improve the quality of the spiritual life of the faithful, the projects that are carried out for the benefit of the people, as well as the relationship between the Lord's Chant and the parish priests in the areas where they live.
His All Holiness expressed his appreciation for the work of the Lord's Prayer and urged to keep in constant contact with the Church and to be actively involved in its work.
At the same time, those present presented the problems they face in the community and expressed their joy for the organization of this meeting, which can be the basis for a fruitful collaboration
Together with the representatives of the Lord's Organization and the clergy who accompanied them, the event was attended by His Eminence Father Damaschin Dorneanul, Vicar-Bishop of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuților, Fr. Filaret Ruscan, diocesan counselor in the Pastoral Mission and Christian Actuality Sector, Fr. Dimitrie Horga, administrative and ecclesiastical counselor, as well as the dean and missionary protopopes of the five protopopies of the Eparchy - Suceava I, Suceava II, Rădăuți, Fălticeni and Câmpulung Moldovenesc.
At the end, His Eminence the Archbishop announced that such meetings with the members of the Lord's Prayer will be held annually. The Archbishop gave all the participants a copy of his book, „Words at the hour of vigil”, published by the Crimca Publishing House of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuților.
The meeting ended with the recitation of poems and the singing of songs dedicated to Our Lady.
