A Christmas for Everyone charity project - 2nd edition

With the blessing of His Most Reverend Father Calinic, Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuților, the Philanthropic Social Sector of the Suceava Eparchial Centre in collaboration with the „Anastasie Crimca” Foundation organizes the second edition of the charity project „A Christmas for everyone”.

This program is intended to share the joy of the Nativity, materialized in the form of gifts containing basic foodstuffs and sweet packages, to a number of about a thousand rural children from disadvantaged families, at risk of dropping out of school and whose parents are unable to provide them with the necessities of life.

At the same time, through this philanthropic endeavor, it is also intended to support a thousand sick elderly people, who no longer have any support from their children and grandchildren, with an income from which they cannot afford to buy food, medicines and wood to get through the winter.

,”Christmas, a holiday meant to bring joy to all people, is, unfortunately, a time when sick parents, deprived of any material and financial support, look with sorrow at their children, to whom they are unable to give a gift from Santa Claus, so long awaited by the little ones. At the same time, elderly people who have been forgotten by their families, who are materially deprived and barely have enough to put on the table, look with tears in their eyes at the gate, hoping that someone will cross the threshold and will come to them, offering them a moment of joy. This project is organized for these people. We hope that with the help of the people, Santa Claus will reach those children whose parents do not have the possibility to give them a small gift, as well as lonely elderly people, thus sharing with them the joy of the Nativity." - Protos. Iustin Tănase, Philanthropic Social Counselor.

The campaign will run from November 5 to December 20 this year, during which all those who wish to join this initiative can do so by direct donations in one of the accounts specially opened to support the charitable activities of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuților.
